This site was started as a resource sharing space for members of the Inland Empire librarians Educated to Advance Diversity and Service (IE LEADS) initiative, an IMLS Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian program grant. The IE LEADS initiative that funded more than 35 students from the Inland Southern California region in the pursuit of a Masters in Library and Information Science degree from an ALA-accredited institution. The program ran from June of 2010 through June of 2014 and included support internships, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
This wiki has pages of information that are organized in alphabetical order. The pages represent logical stages of career information seeking an MLIS student or early-career librarian may perform. Although much of the information is geared toward students and early-career professionals it is still a useful tool for librarians, archivists, and information professionals at all stages of their career.
